This project incorporated multiple items pulled together to form a presentation for Unitec to award to their Partner School Scholars. They wanted to do something out of the ordinary and the question was put to us, "What says, 'Congratulations!' without handing over something traditional such as a plaque, trophy or certificate (which often end up in the bin or at the back of a cupboard)?"
So we thought big:
- Converse Chuck Taylor All Star shoes customised with each students initals
- Socks with Unitec āUā embroidered onto them
- Printed shoe laces
- Watches branded with #success, the campaign hashtag
- A printed invite with Partner School names, the high school the student attended highlighted and the recipient's name on the front
- And the finishing touch: a full colour sleeve, cut and sewn to each box size with the student's name and high school on it
With a tight timeframe and so much variable data it was a challenging but rewarding project. We were pretty stoked with how it turned out, and the client was equally pleased.
Here is what Unitec has to say about working with us
I approached Sophie from Hillcrest Promotions to work with our team on a presentation piece for high school graduates who had won a scholarship to Unitec.
The brief I provided specified "wow" factor, personalisation and something that our students would want and use. One of the things that impressed me about working with Sophie on this project was her ability to understand our end goal and relate to our students.
I knew we'd hit the ball out of the park when not only were the students blown away but other tertiary providers wanted to replicate the project.
